What is Story Coaching?
There are moments in your life that quietly shaped how you relate to others, yourself and even to God.
Story coaching is the work of returning to those moments with honesty and care.
Rather than processing broadly, we slow down and engage specific stories, not summaries, but real experiences.
Because the patterns you live in were formed in experience.
Change begins when your story is no longer something you think about, but something you begin to experience differently.
Story coaching is not therapy, and it doesn’t replace it. It’s more focused, more intentional.
We’re not trying to process everything. We’re paying attention to what matters most and moving toward it with care.
For most sessions, you’ll come with a written story from a specific moment in your life and read it out loud. Together we’ll move through it slowly, noticing what’s there. Your responses, the beliefs that were formed in that moment, and the ways you learned to protect yourself.
This is the work.
Over time, patterns begin to emerge. What has been automatic becomes visible, and what once felt stuck begins to loosen.
You begin to understand not just what you do, but why. You start to see how your story is still shaping your present. And with that awareness comes the possibility of something new.
Not by forcing change, but by telling the truth about what has been.
This work is not about fixing you.
It’s about learning to honor your story and experience it differently.
